Welcome to CSIRO Partners
This page is designed to help Partner users to get started with their Partner account.
The new Partner Account email and Partner account password reset/extension are all very similar in layout, per the image below (click to view full size):
When you receive this email you should click on the Set your Password link near the top of the email. On the page you'll be prompted to enter your new password, which has the following requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters long
- 3 of the 4 types of characters including:
- Upper case: ABCDE
- Lower case: abcde
- Numbers: 12345
- Special characters: !@#$%
- Not the same as your last passwords
If you miss the 24 hour window for changing your password all is not lost. Visit the lower link https://partners.csiro.au/Partners/ResetPassword/ and enter your email address. A new password reset email will be sent to you within a few minutes.
Once your password is set you'll be able to visit sites your CSIRO contact has granted you access to. If you haven't already been given a link, ask your contact for the URL.
Access to CSIRO Systems Using Partners
Accessing different systems using your partner account may be different.
SharePoint requires that you include the partners domain in your username. e.g. USERNAME: partners\myaccount.123
Most other systems do not require using the domain in the username, for instance this site. e.g. USERNAME: myaccount.123
If you're having trouble with accessing CSIRO systems with your partner account your first point of contact should be your CSIRO contact. They'll be able to check that your account is activated and if the password is expired. If they can't help they will contact IT for assistance.
