Simple mineral occurrence information is delivered using MineralOccurrenceView via WFS and WMS. MineralOccurrenceView is the simplified version of the complex multi-commodity mineral deposit feature "EarthResourceML:MineralOccurrence".

The Geoscience Portal tools will operate on the following attributes:

  • identifier
  • shape
  • mineralOccurrenceType_uri
  • representativeCommodity_uri
  • name

so every effort should be made to populate at least those attributes where data exists.
